WooCommerce Product Add-Ons Ultimate has a library of over 40 ready-made add-on fields that you can install to your products within a matter of seconds. This makes getting started with the plugin incredibly easy.
The library includes simple add-on fields like checkboxes and swatches, more complex items like fields with conditional logic, even complex product configurators like build-your-own bike. Just select the fields you want and click a button – the preconfigured fields will be automatically installed to your product ready for you to view, use or edit. It beats building each group and field from scratch.
To install preconfigured fields from the add-ons library:
Step #1: Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Product Add-Ons and enable
Step #2: Edit the WooCommerce product where you want the library add-ons on.
Step #3: Open the ‘Product Add-Ons’ tab in the ‘Product data’ panel.
Step #4: Find the ‘Install Add-Ons from Library’ section.
Step #5: Pick a demo product from the dropdown and click ‘Create add-ons’.
Step #6: Confirm the prompt.
The demo’s groups and fields are added to the product, and any images are pulled into your Media Library.
The fields are fully functioning and fully editable – so you can leave them exactly as they are or you can modify them to suit your specfic requirements.
Notes
- Library add-ons are added alongside existing groups and fields. Delete any imported groups if you want to start over.
- Products and categories referenced by a demo are matched to existing ones on your site by SKU or name, or created automatically.
- Variable products and variations aren’t included, so you’d need to set those up manually.
